Abstract

The problem of choosing the optimal method of surgical treatment of occlusal-stenotic lesions of the arteries of the lower extremities (OSPANK) remains one of the most urgent for modern vascular surgery. The existing recommendations for determining the tactics of surgical treatment based on the international clas- sifications of TASK-1 and TASK-2 for all their advantages can not be considered completely universal and exhaustive, which is associated with the continuous develop- ment of X-ray endovascular methods of correction of OSPANK, the constant refinement of indications and contraindications for various methods of surgical treatment.
