Abstract

The authors proposed a classification of ketonemic syndrome occurring in bariatric surgery, according to severity and developed a method for the ball assessment of this syndrome. The developed author's classification allows to streamline the diagnosis and analysis of postoperative bariatric ketosis. Adjustable gastric bypass in morbid obesity reduces the likelihood of developing pathological postoperative bariatric acetonemic syndrome.
