BARIATRIC SURGERY – A MODERN WAY OF CORRECTION OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IN WOMEN WITH MORBID OBESITY

Abstract

The present review is devoted to the problem of morbid obesity and reproductive disorders in women of fertile age. In fairness, we should mention the fact that the prevalence of obesity is steadily increasing worldwide. Presents recent data of literature on the prevalence, risk factors, pathogenesis and possibilities of bariatric surgery in the correction of reproductive disorders in women of fertile age.
